Ceremony room
The Smythe Room is an elegant ceremony room for up to 30 guests. The Banqueting Room can also be used exclusively for receptions, for up to 30 guests. With its sweeping double staircase, refined interiors and tranquil memorial gardens, the house provides a truly memorable backdrop for your celebration

Confetti
While confetti is not permitted at Serles House, you and your guests are welcome to use bubbles for those special photo moments. Please note that party poppers and spray string are also not allowed.

Photographers and video
Videos can be taken at any point before, during and after the ceremony provided that it does not interrupt the proceedings. Please inform the registration staff so that the photographer can be directed to a suitable position. Your guests are welcome to take photographs before and after the ceremony, but the official photographer should speak to registration staff to agree mutually acceptable points at which photographs can be taken during the ceremony.

Serles House is also conveniently located within a short walking distance of Winchester Cathedral.
If you choose to have photographs taken within the memorial garden, please be respectful of the area.
