Domestic abuse can happen to anyone, no matter your gender, age or ethnicity, you are not alone. There is support available to you.
Your experience is unique to you but if your partner, ex-partner or a family member is using behaviours towards you that:
- make you feel scared
- physically hurt you
- make you feel bad about yourself
- restrict your access to finances
- pressure you to do things you do not want to do;
or any other behaviours that make you feel that you are not in control of your own life, please talk to us to see how we can offer support.

These services are provided by Stop Domestic Abuse.

The advice line is available to anyone seeking advice, help, support or access to services. This includes victims and survivors, family and friends of someone experiencing abuse, and professionals.

Safe accommodation
If you are fleeing domestic abuse and need emergency temporary accommodation, we can support you to find accommodation appropriate to your needs both in Hampshire and across the UK, including for families and those with specific support or cultural needs.
Adult outreach and resettlement/Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA)
We offer support to adults living in the community who are experiencing domestic abuse, we will work with you to understand risk factors and support needs and provide a bespoke package of support that centralises your voice, opinions and needs.
We will work with you and other agencies involved in your support to reduce risk and improve your life to be happier, healthier and safer.
Group work
Group work is a invaluable way to build peer support, recover from the trauma of an abusive relationship and to understand your experience.
We offer a range of programmes to meet needs, including understanding the impact of the abusive behaviours, recovery from trauma, building self-esteem and confidence and parenting support. We also offer specific group work if you are experiencing abusive behaviours from your child.

- 4LSAB Domestic Abuse Awareness Animation - This short, impactful video was originally developed by Bromley Safeguarding Adults Board and has been co-produced with input from local services and individuals with lived experience. It has been adapted for use across our region to raise awareness of domestic abuse, help people recognise the signs, and encourage access to support. The animation reflects our shared commitment to safeguarding adults and promoting safer communities.
