Farmhouse and Wartime Cottage

Step back in time in our beautiful farmhouse and wartime cottage. The farmhouse dates back to the 1400s and is filled with fascinating objects to explore - from mangles and horsehair mattresses to chamber pots and privvies!

The wartime cottage depicts life during World War II with its taped windows, blackout curtains and Anderson shelter. Tucked inside the wartime cottage is an old schoolroom with blackboard and slates, and even a dunce's cap.
