You'll find this label on some plastic packaging. In Hampshire, you can only recycle plastic bottles. Place plastic pots, tubs, and trays into your general rubbish bin.

Widely Recycled

These items are widely recycled, however, currently not everything with this label can be recycled in Hampshire. At the moment only these 5 items can be put in your kerbside recycling bin:

• tins and cans
• aerosols
• plastic bottles
• paper
• card

Some Hampshire authorities do collect other items from the kerbside such as glass, batteries, and small electricals, please check your local authority website before trying to recycle these items to ensure they are collected where you live, and for instructions on which bin to place them in.

We would always advise checking your local authority website for information on recycling items, rather than relying on the product label.
