Abi Myers

Schools Casework Team Leader

Abi joined EPS in November 2016. She has a strong investigative background, having spent 17 years in the police service, where she served as a Detective Sergeant managing and investigating serious and complex crime.

Following her policing career, Abi moved into the retail sector, holding senior management positions. In these roles, she advised on and investigated a broad range of casework, further strengthening her expertise in complex investigations.

Abi is currently the Casework Team Leader for Test Valley and Basingstoke and Deane, and she also leads on staff development within the EPS team. She is passionate about continuous professional development and is committed to ensuring that the team has the skills and knowledge needed to deliver an excellent service to our customers.

Drawing on her extensive background, Abi has a strong commitment to safeguarding. She brings significant experience in multi-agency working and practice and has advised on numerous serious and complex school safeguarding investigations.

Abi holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Human Resource Management, and she is an Associate Member of the CIPD.
