Amanda Stevens

Schools HR Business Partner

Amanda has a background in Education, having worked in casework, policy, recruitment and project functions as a consultant to Headteachers and Governors. Amanda leads on strategic HR matters, leading and overseeing significant strategic HR projects managed within the operational teams. This role includes consultation with Headteacher and Governor representatives, trade unions, and liaison with school improvement colleagues. Amanda often participates in DfE projects and is the South East representative on the national LGA Schools HR Board, assisting to influence and shape guidance and information provided to schools and Local Authorities. As a Business Studies graduate, with a Masters in Personnel Management, Amanda and has also held positions with University of Portsmouth and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) as an External Examiner in respect of postgraduate personnel programmes. Amanda is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
