Martin Myers

Team Leader - East

Martin joined Educational Personnel Services in June 2019. After serving 10 years in the Royal Marines Martin joined the Police Service and served 25 years predominantly in the Criminal Investigations Department. As a manager of Detectives, he was responsible for the management of investigations into serious and complex crime, Public Protection and the multi- agency management of high- risk offenders (MAPPA). Martin also delivered specialist training for officers undertaking specialist operations and presented this at a national level. On leaving the police Martin joined Carnival Cruises and undertook a sea-going role as Chief Security Officer, which included the investigation of numerous complex issues. More latterly performing the role of Maritime Training Officer delivering statutory training and development to a multi-cultural crew. Martin has a Cert Ed in Teaching Adult learners and is an Associate Member of the CIPD. Martin also serves a Magistrate for the East Hampshire Bench.
