Adoption Support Needs Assessment

An Adoption Support Needs Assessment (ASNA) looks at your family’s needs and can open the door to our in-house specialist services or therapies funded by the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF). Our triage approach means you get the right help at the right time, tailored to what matters most for you and your child/ren.

During the assessment, we will talk with you about your child’s emotional, behavioural and practical needs, as well as what support could be available to you. This detailed picture helps us identify whether specialist therapeutic services such as play therapy, counselling, or family support could benefit your child and family, either through our team or funded by the ASGSF.
