About us

Adopt South is a Regional Adoption Agency, combining the services of Hampshire County Council, Isle of Wight Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council.

By joining our adoption services together, we have brought the best practice and experience from each of our four local authorities. This means it’s easier to match a child with an adopter in any of the councils.

It also means adopters, adoptive children and their birth families can use the combined services of the four authorities. It gives them the opportunity to come to events, speak to professionals or get post-adoption support from across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.

If you would like to speak to us, please call:

Adoption Enquiries 0300 0300 011 or request a call back.

Adoption Support 0300 0300 001 or request a call back.

See our Privacy Notices for information about how we collect and use personal information in order to provide adoption services.
