Information for parents and carers
HAF provides support to families throughout school holiday periods.
Important: The HAF programme funding is primarily for school aged children from reception to year 11 (inclusive) who receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM).
Benefits-related FSMs are available to pupils if their parents are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits.

From the 1 February 2024, the Isle of Wight Council (IWC) have resumed operation of an independent Childrens Services department. From this date the Holiday Activities and Food Programme for the Island will be managed directly by IWC and any questions or queries regarding the provision should initially be directed to [email protected]
