Hampshire Health in Education is a programme delivered by Public Health, working with a range of key health and education partners. It supersedes Hampshire Healthy Schools previously coordinated by Children’s Services.
- Health and education information;
- Teaching and learning resources;
- Training for staff on a range of health topics;
- Health and Wellbeing surveys for pupils, staff and settings to identify trends and gaps in provision.
We have developed a Healthy Early Years programme and award that can be freely accessed by all Early Years settings in Hampshire via the Services for Young Children Moodle page. We are also developing a Hampshire Health and Wellbeing Award for schoolsOur Aim:
To enable educational settings across Hampshire to confidently and competently deliver health and wellbeing knowledge, support and action to children and young people, helping them to have the best start in life.
