The next round of HealthEd surveys for schools and colleges will take place in Autumn 2027.

About the surveys

Hampshire Public Health conduct HealthEd surveys (formerly the Hampshire Health and Wellbeing School Surveys) every two years. Surveys are offered to Year 5 and 6 pupils, and students in Post-16 settings. By taking part in this free survey, your pupils in your education setting can share their experiences and help shape our understanding of their health and wellbeing.

What the pupil survey covers

  • Life in school, bullying and health education.
  • Free time, nutrition, physical activity and dental health.
  • Smoking, vaping, relationships and consent.
  • Online safety and emotional wellbeing.
  • Drugs, alcohol and sexual health (Post-16 only).

The surveys are offered every two years and help track pupil wellbeing over time, identify areas for support, and inform local services. They’re a key part of our Public Health Strategy, delivered through Hampshire Health in Education, a partnership between Hampshire Public Health and Education and Inclusion. In addition, staff and settings are surveyed to understand health-related provision, policy, and training needs.

The #Beewell survey, is offered to secondary school pupils across Hampshire.

Settings who took part in the 2025 round of HealthEd surveys will receive their individual setting reports in Spring 2026.
