Walk, run, or skip along the shoreline at Lepe

The sea and shoreline at Lepe

There’s so much to see on the shore, including historic remains, heritage sites, and even major yachting events like Cowes Week. Or it’s a great place to enjoy a peaceful walk by the Solent at the edge of the New Forest.

Lepe beach isn’t life guarded and can have strong currents, so swimming is not advised.

Exterior view of the Lookout on the beach

The area in front of The Lookout is dog free from April to October as this is a particularly popular location for families. Keep an eye out for signs around the beach at this time of year for more information.
