What the session consists of:

Initial layers of ink applied to a material base using a mix of Lino stamps, rubber stamps and contact printing (real leaves, seaweed, grasses, wallpapers, corrugated card all used in these images). 

When ink is dry enough, material base is then placed in an embroidery hoop and decorative stitches added directly to base or using appliqué techniques.

Material, stamps, inks and threads are provided. bring your own embroidery hoop if you have one and needle.
