Starting Your Very Own Vegetable Garden - SOLD OUT

New Vegetable Garden

A practical introduction with Rosie Yeomans There is something deeply satisfying about growing plants and wandering outside to a well stocked personal greengrocer to harvest lunch or supper. Life would not be the same without even a few home grown salads, herbs and veg, and this introduction with Rosie will provide practical hints and information as well as the chance to have a go. The course will take place in the Study Centre organic garden and we will cover all aspects of starting a veg garden, including planning, seed sowing, propagation and pests and diseases. The afternoon will be of interest not only to those just starting a garden but also those developing an existing plot. Rosie has been teaching horticulture for many years. Now freelance, she is a contributor to Gardener's World Magazine, guest panellist on BBC Radio 4's Gardener's Question Time and a regular on BBC Radio Solent's The Good Life. Rosie will be well known from her work with Radio 4 Gardeners Question Time, contribution to BBC Gardeners World Magazine and appearances on Radio Solent 'Good Life'.
