Location
Minstead Study Centre is nestled in a quiet area of the internationally important New Forest National Park, with ponies, cows and donkeys free-roaming outside the centre gates.
Minstead Village is located within a 5 minute walk away from the Centre. Here you can find a wonderful local pub, the Trusty Servant, along with the ancient All Saints' Church (with the gravestone of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle), and the beautiful Furzey Gardens.
Within a 10 minute walk you will reach the wide open spaces of Acres Down, with far reaching views to the Isle of Wight. This is a fantastic space for hiking, biking and exploring.
The nearest towns to Minstead Study Centre are Lyndhurst (2 miles), Ringwood (10 miles) and Southampton (11 miles).
The nearest mainline train station is Brockenhurst (approx. 6 miles).

Getting here by road
From the M27 from the west, make a U-turn at M27 Junction 1, and re-join the A31 and follow directions below:
- From the M27 from the east, continue along the A31 after Junction 1 for about a mile
- Take the Minstead turning on your left on the brow of the hill
- Pass the village hall on your right and take the second turning on the right signposted "Study Centre"
- Follow the road down to the ford and turn right
Cars should park on the school yard or as directed.
Coaches will need to reverse around the corner and park in front of the gates to unload children.
