Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF)

The Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF) provides funding for therapeutic services for adopted young people, subject to eligibility criteria. Families will need to have an Adoption Support Needs Assessment (ASNA) completed by one of our social workers to apply for ASGSF funding. This process involves assessing a family's needs, including meeting with young people to hear and understand their views. Availability of ASGSF funding is subject to Department of Education approval each financial year.
