Friends and Family Workshop

This online workshop for pre-adoption order families, is a great opportunity for friends and family to understand the unique challenges and rewards of adoption.

They will learn why young people come into the care of a local authority and the long-term impacts of these experiences.

This workshop covers therapeutic parenting techniques as well as offering practical tips to support an adopted child's emotional well-being. We will also discuss the importance of a child's identity and provide information on the support available to families.

Attendees include anyone who is part of a child’s family and friendship network including those that live overseas.
