Support sessions - LGBTQ+ virtual meet-up

As part of our Family Support Plan for approved adopters and pre-order families, we run an LGBTQ+ Virtual Meet Up every month in a welcoming and supportive environment.

These online sessions provide a safe, inclusive space for individuals and families who identify as LGBTQ+. You might see familiar faces from your Adopt South training or meet new adoptive parents. It is a chance to connect with others who share similar experiences and feelings.

Each meetup includes open discussions on parenting and adoption-related topics, with opportunities to share ideas and ask questions. Our team is there to offer advice and support if you need it. These sessions are also a great way to expand your social network; you can use the chat function during the event or ask us afterwards to help you make connections.
