Multi-Disciplinary Team Services

Adopt South is part of an innovative national pilot aimed at improving outcomes for adopted children by providing early, holistic support. Our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) brings together specialist professionals to help families access the right support at the right time.

The team includes:

• Assistant Clinical Psychologists
• Consultant Clinical Psychologist (providing clinical supervision and a research partnership)
• Occupational Therapist

This service focuses on understanding children’s needs in the context of trauma and development, offering tailored strategies to strengthen family resilience and wellbeing. The MDT also host free online webinars for families including Blocked Care, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
