Volunteering at Queen Elizabeth Country Park
Our volunteer group meets every Tuesday to take on practical maintenance tasks, as well as assist with holiday and event preparations such as Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. Their contributions are vital to the maintenance and operation of our expansive country park.
Joining our volunteer group is an exciting way to get outdoors and support your local community. As a member, you'll work alongside fellow volunteers and ranger staff to carry out a wide range of tasks, including vegetation clearance, grounds maintenance, coppicing, and scrub management
No prior skills are required - all that's necessary is a willingness to be outdoors in all types of weather. However, a moderate level of physical fitness is necessary, as tasks can be demanding and carried out on uneven terrain. We offer a flexible time commitment to accommodate your schedule.
