Step away from the stresses of daily life and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of our park and woodland setting. Our extended Forest Bathing Session invites you to slow down, awaken your senses, and deeply connect with nature in a mindful and restorative way. Rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Bathing is a science backed method to enhance wellbeing, with benefits including; easing anxiety, stress, and overthinking; balancing blood pressure and reducing cortisol levels; strengthening the immune system and boosting creativity and mental clarity.
The experience features a grounding exercise allowing you to completely unwind beneath the leafy canopy, followed by a warming woodland tea heated by a woodfired kettle. We'll share seasonal tales of forests as liminal (thin) spaces, use picked up twigs and yarn to make a protective charm, have a go at nordic slinging and embrace our interconnection with nature and each other.
