Save the date and join us for a free community event as we celebrate the longest day of the year.
Meet us at 3:30am outside the Visitor Centre to take part in a special procession. Led by the Druids of the Sylvan Grove, we'll make our way on foot to the top of Butser Hill, where a ceremonial welcome to the sunrise will mark the beginning of the longest day.
We look forward to sharing this memorable experience with you.
What you need to know:
- The walk up Butser Hill is steep and requires a reasonable level of fitness, although you will be able to walk at your own pace.
- Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather - it is likely to be cold on the top of Buster Hill.
- We advice you bring a torch and water.
- Parking charges apply at all times. Please note that our car parks are expected to be busy, so we recommend allow plenty of time to park.
