Join our basic bike maintenance workshop this Easter holiday and learn the practical skills needed to keep your wheels on the road or trail.
You will learn:
- how to remove and reattach your bike wheels,
- how to repair a puncture on your bike,
- what equipment you should carry on every bike ride,
- safety checking your bike,
- recommended regular cleaning of your bike including how to keep your chain in tip top condition.
Our maintenance expert, Jethro, will take the time to answer your questions and give you the confidence to use your own basic repair kit and we hope that, following the class, you will have gained more confidence to go out and enjoy your cycling.
What you need to know:
- Booking is essential.
- Sign in on arrival with the visitor centre.
- Please bring your own bike and any tools, including bike pump, that you have so you can learn to use your own tools. As we will be working indoors make sure your bike is not covered in mud.
- Sessions are non refundable/transferable.
- Parking charges apply at all times.
- This session is suitable for adults or teenagers.
