eMTB hire is available from Southern ebike rentals. Please book and pay for this separately.

11am Introductory MTB Route Plus (16km)

For riders looking for a little extra adventure, the 16km introductory route builds on the shorter course with additional trails, longer woodland sections, and a few more climbs. This route offers a fantastic introduction to the varied terrain that makes Queen Elizabeth Country Park one of the South's premier mountain biking destinations.
Expect flowing forest trails, scenic viewpoints, and a mixture of smooth tracks and fun singletrack sections. With around 290m of climbing, it provides a slightly greater challenge while remaining accessible to riders with basic off-road experience and a reasonable level of fitness.
This route is ideal for those who have ridden off-road before and want to experience more of QECP's trail network without tackling the more technical or demanding routes.

Suitable for: Novice to intermediate riders, families with older children, and anyone wanting a longer introductory mountain bike experience.

1pm Introductory MTB Route (13km)

Perfect for riders new to mountain biking or those looking for a shorter challenge, this 13km introductory route showcases some of the best beginner-friendly trails around the park. Starting from the CycleFest hub, riders will enjoy a mix of flowing woodland singletrack, wide forest tracks, and gentle climbs that offer rewarding views across the South Downs.
With approximately 220m of climbing, the route provides enough elevation to give a real sense of achievement without being overly demanding. Designed to build confidence and skills, it offers a fun and varied off-road experience suitable for families, casual riders, and anyone wanting to sample mountain biking in a supportive event atmosphere.

Suitable for: Beginners, families, younger riders, and those new to off-road cycling.
