Are you aged between 8 - 11 and new to new to riding off-road?

28 May 2026 1pm to 2:30pm

MTB Coaching

This session is for children to learn the key skills needed to ride safely off road. It is for those who have not had much, if any, experience of riding away from the tarmac. Children will learn level pedals, body positioning, brake control and how to negotiate basic obstacles.

Most of all we’ll have fun, play, and build new skills in a safe environment. It’s the perfect way to get started on the trails.

What to bring on the day: a mountain bike in full working order, a mountain bike helmet and gloves, appropriate clothing (long trousers) and footwear including waterproof jacket. Snacks and a drink.

We will meet by the Juniper Kiosk. If you need directions please head to the Visitor Centre first.
