Take a stroll through the park with our ranger to find the sunniest spots as we hunt for the butterflies that call Queen Elizabeth Country Park their home.
This event is for children aged 5 years old and up.
What you need to know
- This activity is aimed at families with children aged 5 years and up, a responsible adult must remain with children at all times.
- Meet at 1pm outside the Queen Elizabeth Country Park visitor centre where you will be met by a member of the Country Park staff.
- The walk will be around 2 hours long at a gentle pace. There will be short sections of steep hills and uneven terrain but these can be taken slowly.
- You will need sturdy footwear and comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions, we recommend wearing long trousers or leggings.
- The walk is only suitable for pushchairs with all terrain tyres, please be aware that the ground is uneven and there are some steep hills.
- Parking charges apply at all time.
