Please note this is a guided fungi identification walk, not a foraging event. All information shared is for educational purposes only and should not be used for collecting or consuming mushrooms.
Please come dressed appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear suitable for uneven terrain.
What you need to know
- Meet at 10am outside the Queen Elizabeth Country Park visitor centre where you will be met by a member of the Country Park staff.
- Walks will be 1.5-2 hours long at a gentle pace. There will be short sections of steep hills but these can be taken slowly.
- You will need sturdy footwear and comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions, we recommend wearing long trousers or leggings.
- We may need to cancel the walk in the event of heavy rain and winds.
- Parking charges apply at all time.
