Inquest timescales
The process and timescales for inquests are dependent upon the complexity of the individual case and might be affected by witnesses and legal representatives. The inquest will be held at either our Winchester or Portsmouth Courts as soon as possible.
Your assigned Coroner’s Officer will keep you informed throughout the inquiry, advise you on timescales where possible, and let you know the venue, date, and time for the inquest.
