Recreational slope use
Season dates:
- Freestyle Night will start on Monday 13 October
- Family Sessions will start on Friday 24 October
- Sessions will end for Christmas on Saturday 20 December and will restart on Monday 5 January
- The last session of the season will be Monday 30 March
FREESTYLE NIGHT
Monday 7pm to 10pm
We have a great range of mobile features for you to progress and practice your freestyle moves. Features include kickers, wedges, street rails and box rails.

FAMILY SESSIONS
Friday and Saturday 6pm to 9pm
Keep those skills topped up this winter and spend some time with family or friends. The slope is open seasonally for those with existing skills.

Members of the public are not permitted to teach others on recreational sessions. All inexperienced slope users must book lessons with one of our trained instructors. To attend a recreational session, you must be able to control speed and use the lifts unassisted.
- Gloves and trousers must be worn, and long sleeves are advisable.
- Helmets are compulsory for under 18s and recommended for adults.
- Helmets are compulsory for all slope users on freestyle nights.
- Wrist guards are compulsory for snowboarders under 18 and recommended for adults.

Risks
Snowsport activities are activities with a danger of personal injury. The Calshot slopes are used at your own risk. Calshot Activities Centre cannot be held responsible for individuals own actions which result in them taking unnecessary risks beyond their capabilities.
Although Calshot Slope is an artificial environment, the risks involved are no less serious than when skiing or snowboarding outside.
Skiing or snowboarding beyond your capabilities on the slope is likely to result in a fall; any fall may result in an injury. You must make your own assessment of the risks whenever you ski or snowboard.
General safety
No beginners on recreational sessions - you must be able to descend the slope in control.

Wrist guards are compulsory for snowboarders under 18 and recommended for adults.
No inverted manoeuvres.
The use of ramps and rails must be checked by the slope supervisor before use.
Under 18s
Parental consent must be completed for all under 18s.
All under 16s in the centre must be supervised by an adult.
Our duty of care
The rules of the slope set out are not intended to limit your enjoyment of the facilities. They are part of the duty of care that we, as operators, owe to you, the customer, by law. As such they are not negotiable and if you are not prepared to abide by them, Calshot Activities Centre reserves the right to refuse entry and to stop individuals using the slope if their behaviour or practise is considered unsafe to themselves or others.
Calshot Activities Centre accepts no responsibility for damage to personal equipment used on our slopes.
