As a site of significant historical value, Calshot has uneven surfaces throughout. Caution and sensible footwear are advised when driving and walking around the site.

Calshot Activities Centre opening times vary depending on the programmed activities. Course participants will receive details of timings with their joining instructions. Please check our social media pages for changes and updates.

Getting here by car: from the M27, follow the A326 towards Fawley. Keep an eye out for the brown tourist signs for Calshot Activities Centre.

Getting here by bus: the Bluestar No. 8 takes passengers from Southampton to Calshot village. Please note that the bus stop in Calshot village is 1 mile away from Calshot Activity Centre.

Getting here by rail: the nearest station is Beaulieu Road Station, approximately 10.9 miles away.

Parking

An Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system is in operation at the centre. Simply drive in, park up and pay at one of the pay machines before leaving. Our pay machines accept notes, coins or card payments.

Gates remain are locked outside of opening hours. No overnight parking permitted.

Motorcycles: free

Blue badge holders can enjoy up to 3 hours free parking per day providing the holder validates their parking the same day during normal centre opening hours.

Annual parking pass

Save time and money by purchasing one of our annual parking passes. Parking passes are effective for 12 months from the month of purchase.

Benefits include:

  • Attractive discount on daily parking rates
  • No need to worry about carrying change to feed parking meters
  • Swift exit from site – no need to validate your parking period at the pay stations
  • The pass can be registered with two vehicle registrations. If both cars are on site at the same time, parking day rates will apply to the second vehicle.

Annual parking passes available for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. For larger vehicles, please contact the centre.

Accessibility

  • Accessible toilet and shower, parking and wheelchair access to The Café Bar.
  • The Hangar is largely accessible to those who use a wheelchair, however there is uneven ground surrounding the Hangar and the Castle.
  • With help from our instructors and adaption to kit, people with disabilities can enjoy a range of adventure activities here at Calshot.
