RYA ONBOARD SAILING

Run by sailing’s National Governing Body, the RYA, OnBoard is a hugely successful grass roots programme which seeks to make sailing and windsurfing easier to access for 8-18 year olds. Launched in 2005 the programme has helped introduce nearly 1,000,000 young people across the country to sailing and windsurfing.

CALSHOT SAILING CLUB

2 hrs | ages 8-18 | £20

The aim of the club is to get people onto the water to learn and improve their sailing skills. Through regular sessions we will improve your skills and develop your sailing confidence so you can safely enjoy your time on the water.

For those more experienced sailors, we can work with you to look at sailing faster, sailing better or even competing. If you prefer, we can look towards developing you as an instructor to help inspire the next generation!

All we ask is that new participants are at RYA Youth Stage 1 ability or above.

  • We run our sessions every other week due to the tides at Calshot.
  • All equipment is provided, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets etc, and parking is included.
  • We ask parents to be there for the beginning and end to help kit up and pack away.
