Calshot Flyers Windsurfing Club RYA OnBoard

Run by sailing’s National Governing Body, the RYA, OnBoard is a hugely successful grass roots programme which seeks to make sailing and windsurfing easier to access for 8-18 year olds. Launched in 2005 the programme has helped introduce nearly 1,000,000 young people across the country to sailing and windsurfing.

Calshot Flyers is our RYA OnBoard (Formerly Team 15) windsurfing club. The aim of the club is to get people onto the water to learn and improve their windsurfing skills. Through regular session we will improve your skills and develop your windsurfing ability so you can safely enjoy your time on the water.

For those more experienced windsurfers, we can work with you to look at sailing faster, jumping higher or even look at competing. If you prefer, we can look towards developing you as an instructor yourself to help inspire the next generation!

  • We run our sessions every other week due to the tides at Calshot.
  • All equipment is provided, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids, harnesses etc, and parking is included.
  • We ask parents to be there for the beginning and end to help get kit and pack it away.
