Hiring a BBQ at River Hamble Country Park makes for an idyllic setting to relax with friends, hold a meeting, or host a corporate day, children’s party or family get together. The largest BBQ area can accommodate up to 80 people, so everyone can join in the fun.
We have 8 barbecues available for hire between 1 April and 31 October.
Inflatables and similar structures are not permitted at our BBQ sites. Gas bottles, disposable barbecues and portable stoves are not permitted - apart from portable free-standing barbecues at the hired hearths in Toplands. Full terms and conditions.
Picnics
River Hamble Country Park is a perfect picnic spot to get together with friends and family for a scenic snack along the riverside, woodland trail or play area.
There are plenty of picnic benches and litter bins on site, but on busy days if the bins are full, please take your picnic rubbish home with you.
Enhance your picnic with hot drinks, ice creams and light snacks from The Barn. We also have vending machines dispensing hot and cold drinks, and snacks.
