Watersports

The River Hamble is what makes our country park so unique. Not only do we have stretches of scenic shoreline for visitors to enjoy from land, but there are plenty of opportunities to get out on the water and enjoy what this fantastic river has to offer.

Stand up paddleboarding

Bring your own paddleboard or hire one through a local vendor. Set off from the shore and enjoy your adventure.

Kayaking

Explore the river by kayak – either bring your own or hire one through a local vendor.

Don’t forget to check tide times before you head out and remember to stay safe and be mindful of wildlife while you’re out on the water.

For more advice about reducing your impact on local wildlife while out on the water, please view the guidance from Bird Aware Solent.

Stoked Watersports – Hire a kayak or paddleboard

Try paddle boarding or kayaking at River Hamble County Park with our provider Stoked Watersports. They offer regular hourly sessions throughout the day (subject to tides) ideal for beginners and families. With these sessions, equipment hire, safety cover and on-water coaching is provided. They have lifejackets and buoyancy aids for all ages and dogs are welcome too.

Looking for freedom to tour and explore?
