Permanent Orienteering Course at River Hamble Country Park created by Southampton Orienteering Club.
There are three permanent orienteering courses. The Easy course stays on the major paths of the park and is suitable for buggies/wheelchairs. The intermediate course is longer than the easy course and will take you along smaller paths and will involve some steps. The Adventurous course will take you into the woods and up steps. Or you can try to find all of the checkpoints in any order - called a Score course.
Ways to take part:
- Download the free app called 'MapRun' from Google Play or the Apple Store and enter your details.
- Navigate to: Select Event / UK / Southampton / Permanent Courses / Lepe Country Park and choose one of the courses. Selecting 'Go to start' will download the map and course onto your phone.
- You can download and print the map at home from www.goorienteering.org.uk.
- Maps are also available to buy from the Visitor Services desk.
