Avington Park
Small area of parkland overlooking Avington Lake in the Itchen Valley
About the site
Avington Park was once part of the large Avington Park House estate. The house dates back to the late sixteenth century, but has been considerably altered. It is now privately owned and is Grade I Listed.
This small grassland site has great views of the house across the lake which can hold a variety of water birds to look out for. This is also a great place for a picnic.
