About the site
Wickham Common is common land situated just off the Southwick Road.
It is typical in shape having horns of land leading to the common. These would once have been a drove road. The area is now a mix of grassland and woodland used for informal recreation. A small track runs through the middle of the site and there is a parking area at the Southwick Road entrance. A roman road transects the site.
