River Hamble Harbour Management Committee

The River Hamble Management Committee represents the interests of river users and stakeholders. It is made up of river stakeholder groups and local and Hampshire Councillors. The Management Committee meets quarterly in advance of Board meetings. It is responsible for both advising the Board and for scrutinising its decisions.  

The Management Committee ensures that all elements of the river community have representation. It is the river’s ‘Port User Group’ and meets quarterly in advance of Board meetings to advise the Board on decisions. It also has the power to question the Board on decisions. It is also a Hampshire County Council Cabinet Committee.
