Using the river

The River Hamble is a major recreational harbour adjoining Southampton Water on the south coast of England. A home to 3200 vessels afloat, it is an internationally recognised centre for yachting and motorboating, as well as a popular destination and launching point for visiting craft. It’s also a great place for dinghy sailing, and the upper river offers peaceful and sheltered waters for exploration by paddleboards and other small craft.
