Mission

To enhance understanding of other parties’ points of view and joined up management of the Estuary.

The Hamble Estuary Partnership (HEP) will:

• organise at least two meetings per year, with project workshops and topic groups as required.
• distribute electronic updates or newsletters as necessary.
• help deliver priority projects identified by partners.
• have a website with information about the partnership, meetings and minutes, and project information.
• sponsor a student research fund to encourage academic research.
• provide a consultative role to the Hamble Harbour Board.

Between 2003 and 2008 an Estuary Management Plan was produced by the Partnership. This document is being updated over time as the Partnership evolves, but a few copies of the 2003 to 2008 plan are available on request from [email protected].
