Harbour dues
Harbour dues are fees paid by river users that allow the Harbour Authority to maintain its statutory responsibilities, preserve local wildlife and keep the river safe. A valid harbour dues disc must be displayed on the outside of all eligible vessels, either on the port side of the transom or the port quarter of the hull.
Charges are based on maximum length overall, rounded up to the nearest whole metre. Separate rates apply for commercial vessels. Contact the office to discuss charges.
They are payable annually for residents’ vessels and are included in fees for both visiting boats and those launching. The owner of the visiting or launching vessel is responsible for paying harbour dues, either after securing alongside a jetty or before launching at one of the Harbour’s slipways. Owners of resident vessels must pay in October for the following calendar year.
Daily and weekly rates are available for dry-stacked, dry-sailed and trailer launched vessels.
