Positioned in a prime location for campers to enjoy stunning views over the Solent, Southampton Water and the Isle of Wight.
The campsite provides an ideal base to explore the New Forest, enjoy watersports, tour the Tudor castle or simply relax on the beach and watch the world (and the cruise ships) go by. For those seeking local activities and amenities, the campsite is situated within one of the largest outdoor activity centres in the UK which offers a variety of adventure sports and facilities for both individuals and families.
The Calshot campsite is licensed to provide short stay camping for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Facilities for campers include toilets, showers, electric hook ups and a chemical waste disposal point.
The campsite field is open to approved members only.
You must purchase an annual Calshot Camping Access Pass in order to stay on the campsite at Calshot Activities Centre. Passes cost £30.00 and are activated immediately. Once you have purchased an annual pass you will be able to make a pitch booking.
More information about Campsite membership and bookings can be found in our frequently asked questions document.
We have created a short video to guide you through the booking process, should you need it.
All pitch bookings and payments must be made in advance via our new online booking system - failure to do so could lead to disappointment if the campsite is full. Same day bookings can only be made online until 9.45am. Extending your stay must be agreed with the Centre and paid for prior to departure.

Calshot Caravan and Camping Club
We have changed the route to camping membership at Calshot as detailed in the Access Passes section on this page, however the Calshot Caravan and Camping Club (CCCC) offers an opportunity to join a club of likeminded campers, to share experiences and enjoy a range of social events. Membership is voluntary and is not a pre-requisite to purchasing the Calshot Camping Access Pass.
More details about the CCCC can be found on the Calshot Association website.
