How to complain about the Police and Crime Panel and/or its Members
If you wish to make a complaint regarding the alleged conduct of an elected Member of the Police and Crime Panel (the Panel), you should send your complaint to the Local Authority of which they are a Member. See the relevant Local Authority's website for details of how to make a complaint against one of their Members. If you are unsure about which Local Authority the individual concerned is a Member of, this information is available on the Contact details page.
If you wish to make a complaint regarding the alleged conduct of a co-opted member of the Panel who is not a Member of a Local Authority you should send your complaint to the Monitoring Officer of Hampshire County Council as follows:
- Monitoring Officer
Hampshire County Council Law and Governance
EII South, The Castle Winchester
SO23 8UJ
- Email: [email protected]
Phone: 03707 796176
If you wish to make a complaint regarding the administration of the Panel and its meetings, you should contact the Panel's scrutiny officer (via email: [email protected], or by phone on: 03707 796176) who will make the necessary arrangements for your complaint to be considered on behalf of Hampshire County Council, being the Local Authority responsible for such administration. If you are unhappy with the outcome of the County Council's internal complaints procedure, you can make a complaint regarding maladministration to the Local Government Ombudsman.
