Collecting records
We continue to collect records deposited from any sources that help to reflect the history of Hampshire and its diverse communities. Our collections include records from the early medieval period to the COVID years, from popular records such as parish registers and wills to unusual collections such as weather records, bird surveys, and election leaflets.
Caring for our collection
We care for the collections by conserving fragile documents and protecting them with suitable packaging and making copies in various formats for public access, whilst also managing restricted access to sensitive information under data protection legislation.
