Copy certificates

We can supply copies of birth, death, marriage or civil partnership certificates for events which have occurred since July 1837 in Hampshire, but not Portsmouth or Southampton.

Our free enquiry service offers advice about your research question and the availability and use of our records.

You can also submit a request for research to be done on your behalf, at a charge.


Order copies of parish register entries, newspaper entries, wills and most unbound documents.

If you require a copy of a document held at Hampshire Record Office for legal purposes, we can provide certified copies or transcriptions.
