For thousands of years, bees have shared our world, pollinating plants and sweetening our lives. Winchester Beekeepers invites you to explore the fascinating world of honey bees in this special centenary exhibition in our foyer.

Discover how beekeepers care for their colonies, see inside a beehive, and the tools and protective clothing used in beekeeping. Uncover the secrets of bees’ busy lives both inside and outside the hive, and see displays of honey, honeycomb, and propolis along with their many uses. Learn about the challenges facing bees today, including the threat of the invasive Asian Hornet, and find out how you can help protect these vital pollinators for the future. Join us in celebrating 100 years of Winchester Beekeepers and the fascinating world of honey bees!
