I'm using a van, pick-up or trailer
If you are bringing household waste in a large vehicle, such as a van, pick-up or a trailer, you may need to apply for a permit.
I'm not a Hampshire resident
Residents of Portsmouth or Southampton can access all Hampshire HWRCs free of charge.
Residents of Dorset can access Somerley HWRC free of charge.
Residents of West Sussex can access Havant and Petersfield HWRCs free of charge.
Other non-Hampshire residents will be charged £13.50 per visit to a Hampshire HWRC and cannot dispose of DIY waste free of charge. Charges are payable upon booking. See our out of county customer webpages for more information.
I'm not using my own car
When booking to visit a Hampshire HWRC, you should use the registration number of the vehicle you will be driving.
I'm using a hire van
You can book an appointment and access the HWRCs in a hired van, as long as you have hired it for three days or fewer and present the van hire agreement to site staff on arrival. You must bring the hire agreement with you to the recycling centre and show it to site staff when you arrive.
You can book online or via the OurHants app. Please select “Hire vehicle” as your vehicle type.
I'm a cyclist
I'm a pedestrian
Some HWRCs offer pedestrian-only access at specific times. Find out more about pedestrian access.
Pedestrians are not permitted access to Hampshire HWRCs outside of these times.
