Isle of Wight

Most records relating to the Isle of Wight, including parish registers, are kept at Isle of Wight Record Office.

The Isle of Wight was a part of the county of Hampshire and the Diocese of Winchester, we do have some records relating to the Isle of Wight at the Hampshire Record Office. These records include bishops' transcripts of Isle of Wight parish baptisms, marriages and burials, mainly from 1780 to the mid-19th century.
