Sex Education Forum

The Sex Education Forum (SEF) website maintains a comprehensive list of resources for both primary and secondary SRE and guidance on reviewing and updating your school's SRE policy:

Condoms for educational purposes

Providing a condom teaching session should form part of a planned secondary Sex and Relationships Education programme within a robust PSHE curriculum in KS3/4

Policies and guidance

Any teaching should normally be set within the school's policy around SRE or the wider PSHE agenda. Our Healthy Schools website has some combined policy templates and also lists where to find the guidance on SRE. The policy development and national document tabs link to relevant websites and documents.
